Test management & QA

We support you in the development of software that is optimally coordinated with your business and your digitalisation project, with testing personnel who are certified according to ISTQB standards.

Our large team of experienced, communicative, German-speaking and English-speaking software testers understands and accompanies the testing process, from test planning to test implementation, and inspects the software on-site or off-site with regard to the specified quality criteria. This starts with static testing in the actual development and conception phase, and continues throughout the course of programming with component tests, integration tests, system tests and acceptance tests. Project support can be provided by our software testers in either incremental or sequential development processes.

When digitalisation or the digital transformation of companies and public authorities is mentioned, one of the first associations is the application of software. Its use in the form of CRMs or ERPs, for example, makes it possible to offer services in a more efficient manner and thus to increase the satisfaction of the customer base. It also entails the possibility of process automation. Both the fulfilment of the customers’ expectations and automation are central goals in the scope of digital transformation; these objectives both ultimately lead to saving resources, and therefore to greater profitability for companies.

As promising as the simplification of processes with the application of software may be, the integration of such systems into ongoing operations can be just as complex and prone to problems. However, avoiding the use of software completely is not an option. Instead, solutions are needed that minimise the risks and obstacles faced when it comes to successful software integration.

Software must be used efficiently if the digitalisation project is to be successfully implemented.

Whether software is implemented in a technical or commercial context – in any case, the operation of facilities or the execution of processes within an organisation depends on this software functioning reliably. The use of software in itself, therefore, is not the decisive factor. – Software must be applied efficiently if the digitalisation project is to be successfully implemented. This efficient deployment of software includes, among other things, the initial careful clarification of which software is right for the company’s industry, and which areas of the company should thus be supported with software. In addition, the option of being able to rely on effective software in ongoing business operations also means that companies and public authorities need to provide the best possible quality of the developed software, even during the software development process. According to ISO 9126 and ISO 25010, the quality characteristics of software include the elements of functionality, reliability, usability, efficiency, ease of modification and transferability. Right from the start of the software development process, the guarantee of flawless software and its corresponding efficient application is ensured by systematic inspection and testing of the programme to be developed, carried out by qualified software testers. When software is maintained or enhanced, i.e. when parts of a programme are adjusted or individual elements of the software are amended, the software testing ensures that any errors are eliminated (retesting) and that updates have not caused any new errors (regression testing). In this area in particular, the automation of tests is a great option for increasing the efficiency of software testing. Our experts will also support you in this regard.
